“Poor feedback can be worse than no feedback at all, because it is distracting, uninformative, and in many cases irritating and anxiety-provoking.”
In Module 5, I learned how to design effective software screens and interactions. This involved learning the components that of an interaction and how these various components – controls, rules and feedback – facilitate an interaction. I discovered that feedback is the starting point for any effective interaction design and that wireframes are the design tool we should use to communicate controls, rules and feedback to developers.
