“Make things as simple as possible, but not simpler.”
In Module 9, I learned how to define effective workflows that allow users to complete common tasks. This included how to design effective registration and onboarding workflows that users can flow through smoothly. I also learned how to design effective sign-in processes for return users.
I explored different kinds of complex forms and how to design these effectively, and was introduced to the importance of easy-to-use payment flows. I learned how to design payment screens that encourage trust in users, while being quick and easy to flow through.
I also learned about micro tasks and the common components that are needed in order to design these effectively. On top of this, the module dives into the concept of mobile notifications and explores how to use these appropriately and effectively.
